What this is about!

In July 2006, 17 of us will travel to Usa River, Tanzania, to visit the Ailanga Lutheran Junior Seminary, run by the Lutheran Church of Tanzania. This is the continuation of a relationship started about four years ago between several Lutheran Churches (ELCA) in northeast Seattle and Shoreline Washington, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania and Ailanga School. The travelers this year represent the congregations of Faith, University, Maple Leaf, and Prince of Peace Lutheran Churches. The first trip of high school students and adults took place in the summer of 2004.

This journal is being written to document the 2006 trip.
